2024 Scholarship Forms
(For high school graduating seniors)
3 Letters of Recommendation (please have a current teacher provide at least 1 of the 3 letters of recommendation)
LASTLY, if you do receive the scholarship, we will need the college/university to provide proof of enrollment in order to receive the given amount of the scholarship.
2024 KMD ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
Eligibility:
4-Year College/University Degree Plan Applicant's Requirements to be Eligible for the Kelsey Mae Davis Memorial Scholarship:
Soon-to-be-high school graduate! This scholarship is for you if you are planning on attending a 4-year college or university degree plan. It is our aim to help further your education and the Kelsey Mae Davis Memorial Scholarship can help pay for tuition, books, housing, etc.
Kelsey Mae Davis Memorial Scholarship will provide the selected recipient with half of the scholarship money in the first semester (upon proof of enrollment) and the remaining half of the scholarship at the beginning of the second semester (upon meeting the requirements of a minimum GPA of 2.0 and proof of enrollment).
CHECKLIST for what is needed from the applicant:

2024 KMD VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
Eligibility:
Trade/Vocational Technical School Applicant's Requirements to be Eligible for the Kelsey Mae Davis Memorial Scholarship:
Soon-to-be-high school graduate! This scholarship is for you if you are planning on attending a trade school (i.e., horse-shoeing school, welding school, auto-collision repair school, carpentry, electrician, construction and building, paramedic, commercial driving, and cosmetology school. These are just a few examples of trade schools to be considered). It is our aim to help further your education and the Kelsey Mae Davis Memorial Scholarship can help pay for tuition, books, housing, etc.
Kelsey Mae Davis Memorial Scholarship will provide the selected recipient with half of the scholarship money in the first half of the program (upon proof of enrollment) and the remaining half of the scholarship at the beginning of the second half of the program (upon meeting the requirements of passing grades and proof of enrollment).

2024 KMD NON-TRADITIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
(For non-traditional students)
Eligibility:
Trade/Vocational Technical School Applicant's Requirements to be Eligible for the Kelsey Mae Davis Memorial Scholarship:
To our Non-Traditional Applicant! This scholarship is for you if you are planning on attending a four-year trade school (i.e., horse-shoeing school, welding school, auto-collision repair school, cosmetology school. These are just a few examples of trade schools to be considered). It is our aim to help further your education and the Kelsey Mae Davis Memorial Scholarship can help pay for tuition, books, housing, etc.
Kelsey Mae Davis Memorial Scholarship will provide the selected recipient with half of the scholarship money in the first semester (upon proof of enrollment) and the remaining half of the scholarship at the beginning of the second semester (upon meeting the requirements of a minimum GPA of 2.0 and proof of enrollment).
CRITERIA for a Non-Traditional Student (you must meet 3 or more of the listed to be eligible):
Delays enrollment (does not enter postsecondary education in the same calendar year that he or she finished high school)
Has completed at least 60 credit hours at an accredited university
Attends part-time for at least part of the academic year
Works full-time (35 hours or more per week) while enrolled
It is considered financially independent for purposes of determining eligibility for financial aid
Has dependents other than a spouse (usually children, but may also be caregivers of sick or elderly family members)
Is a single parent (either not married or married but separated and has dependents)
Does not have a high school diploma
